The United Fund raises money to support a network of local, Warren County nonprofit agencies that  build character in our youth, assist the elderly, provide basic human service needs and offer assistance and comfort in times of disaster. Best of all, 100% of every dollar donated to the United Fund goes directly to these agencies.

Serving the community for over 30 years, A Safe Place provides 24hr domestic violence/sexual assault support in Warren and Forest Counties to men, women and children who are victims to their close family and friends. Services are free of charge.

Established in 1968, Experience, Inc., the Area Agency on Aging, is dedicated to meeting the needs of senior citizens of Warren and Forest Counties. Experience, Inc. is a nonprofit company. We offer a wide variety of programs and services created for seniors to enhance the quality of life. Our services are designed with your long-term independence in mind. Our professional staff is here to help, plan, and coordinate your care.

CPR/AED, first aid, and disaster services. The Jr. Red Cross program supplies Armed Forces Emergency Service to military families 24/7. The nation’s blood supply is ensured through a partnership with regional Red Cross Blood Services.

The Bollinger Campus of the Barber National Institute has been serving the Warren-Forest region since 1972. The organization provides opportunities and supports for adults with intellectual disabilities to more fully integrate into our community with job skill development, employment placement and training, and recreational and service activities. We also offer pre-employment services for students ages 14 – 21 to prepare for transitioning from schools into the
workplace.

Serving the youth of Warren County since 1913, this is the oldest Scout Council in America. Their program uses fun to teach young people leadership, patriotism, teamwork, community service, respect for the environment and the beliefs of others.

Caring for Life is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial and emotional support to Warren County families who have a child diagnosed with a chronic or serious illness. Their volunteers bring friendship, understanding and hope for families who are dealing with the uncertainty of their child’s future.

DMAC provides comprehensive support and services to the disabled of our community. They currently offer specialized pre-school & speech therapy, a summer language program, Camp-Talk-A-Lot, swim therapy and recreation, loan equipment, financial assistance, Shriner’s Outreach Orthopedic Clinic, diabetic support group & advocacy and referral.

When a family experiences a crisis, the strain can often be felt far outside the home, such as at work, school and in community life. Family Services strengthens the well- being of families through counseling, substance abuse services and support groups.

Girl Scouts of Western PA serves 40,000 girls in 27 counties. Girl Scouting empowers girls to make a difference, value diversity and inclusion and to expand their horizons through local, national and international involvement.

Hospice of Warren County offers comprehensive Hospice care, a palliative care service, the DeFrees Support Program, extensive bereavement service and our John and Orphan Blair Hospice Residence. Our mission is to provide compassionate end-of-life care assuring dignity for body, mind and spirit.

The Jefferson DeFrees Family Center of Warren, Pennsylvania is a community-centered, family- oriented organization, which strives to promote and encourage opportunities for all to grow through interaction, education, awareness and recreation.

New Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to training dogs to enhance the lives and bring greater independence to those with physical disabilities. These dogs assist people with mobility and/or hearing disabilities, seizures and children with autism.

A licensed personal care home which offers respite care, a licensed day care/pre-school and summer recreation program, a recreational complex - all available at the busy Ruth M. Smith Center in Sheffield. Residents of Sheffield, Warren, Kane, Clarendon and the entire area are served at this multifaceted agency.

A multi-service facility with many activities for seniors in Mead, Cherry Grove, Sheffield and Clarendon areas. Meals three times weekly, home-bound meals seven times weekly, transportation services, medical screenings and recreation are offered year-round.

Since 1891, The Warren Salvation Army Worship & Service Center has provided critical social and spiritual services to generations of families. Today, they join forces with volunteers from the Sheffield, Sugar Grove, Tidioute and Youngsville Service Units to serve even more of those in need.

Assistance for your loved ones in the military service is extended by the USO which offers not only the well known social clubs and entertainments worldwide, but also guidance for military families.

The Warren County 4-H program has a proud history of working with youth to develop life skills such as leadership, problem solving, decision making, communication and teamwork since 1927. The 4-H program offers various clubs including after-school clubs and school enrichment programming.

The Warren County Children's Advocacy Center offers a comprehensive, centrally located, multidisciplinary team response to allegations of child abuse throughout Warren County. A dedicated, child-friendly setting provides victims and caregivers a safe space to begin to find help, hope, and healing.

It is our desire to provide an affordable safe place of comfort, support and health to individuals facing unplanned pregnancies, youth making lifestyle choices, wounded women in need of healing from past mistakes and childless couples whose arms ache for a child.

This family center provides an excellent facility and a multitude of programs for all ages. The YMCS financial assistance program, funded in large part by the United Fund, enabled over 800 memberships last year to those unable to afford membership and program fees.
